I was messing around with glow effects today when a render resulted in this.

I thought it looked quite trippy so I started changing the colours.

Unfortunately the way a glow effect works is by adding the glow in post. It is NOT a dynamic or even a static light source and is simply a small, low opacity filter added on top of the frames.

All things considered, the glow effect has its uses, especially when paired with actual light sources and can be used as an easy-to-render alternative to volumetric light when on a small scale.
