Maxwell Jones is a Detective of the Galactic Police Force (GPF) which has authority above that of the segmented forces. He travels the galaxy solving cases submitted to him or that which he finds himself.

He has a legendary legacy of being one of the most effective detectives of all time and his skills are indispensable in a police investigation.

Maxwell's primary item is a golden pocket watch that he came into possession of. Some say it seems strange seeing him stare into the watch at times and then thoughtfully look around, fidgeting with the buttons on the watch.
